Kristy Lynn
was born in New Albany, Indiana, and moved to Raleigh, North Carolina
when she was eight years old. After graduating from East Carolina
University in 2002 with a degree in studio art, she relocated
to New York to start a new phase of life. During her several years
in the city she worked at the Brooklyn Museum and Neue Galerie
New York, while also exhibiting work at galleries including Stay
Gold and About Glamour/AG Gallery. She saw amazing exhibits, heard
interesting bands, and generally enjoyed life, garnering inspiration
from all quarters. In 2006, Kristy Lynn moved to Tucson, Arizona
with her sweetheart, where she has been working on new, more colorful
paintings and conceptualizing future sculptures. The desert is
raw and beautiful, with a powerful visual and psychic influence
which she is enjoying it quite a lot.
