Kristy Lynn has always been interested in the multi-faceted world of art. Aside from painting and drawing, she has learned about the art community from within by taking positions at many different art institutions. While in school in North Carolina, she worked at the Greenville Museum of Art and interned at Emerge Gallery. After graduating from East Carolina University in 2002 with a BFA in Studio Art, Kristy moved to New York. She stayed in Brooklyn for several years and exhibited artwork at several venues, including Stay Gold Gallery and AG Gallery. An internship at Location One led to employment at the Brooklyn Museum and Neue Galerie New York. In August 2006, Lynn moved to Tucson. She currently works for Tansey Gallery, where she also displays her new work.
